The creation process at Almarose

History always begins before the first sketch. There are images accumulated over time: an architecture that intrigues, a form in a museum, a sculpture, an ancient object, an almost invisible detail that awakens an idea. Creation is rooted in these silent moments, in the way they lay down, and then turn into new forms.

Create demand for inner silence.
We must agree not to force the idea. Looking around, life, the world, what others create by searching in themselves, what speaks to us, is our own.
Let the sketch come, sometimes in one gesture, sometimes after several tests. It's never a rush. It is an almost spiritual moment, when one connects to oneself, to what one wishes to transmit, and to the person who will carry the room.

The birth of an intention
For a collection, this intuition work becomes a course. We're looking for consistency, rhythm, dynamics. The pieces must dialogue between themselves, reflect an identity while leaving room for freedom. Each creation must – in its own way – express a part of what animates us.

At the workshop, I often create directly in metal. He's the one who talks to me best. Yellow gold, white gold, red gold, or even silver reveal their natural constraints, and it is within these limits that the most beautiful ideas are born. A curve that tends, a volume that opens, a thickness that tightens. Each gesture counts: to trim, stretch, bend, hammer. Sometimes a metal movement gives me the next inspiration.
And always, in watermark, the story of the person who entrusted me with his project.

A jewel shaped for a person
Each form responds to a demand, a measure, a way of life. We choose a height, a width, a thickness. We're looking for balance, accuracy. A room is built step by step, always keeping in mind the one who will carry it.

Creation is never a straight line. It's a dialogue, an exploration, a gesture that adjusts. And it is in this assumed slowness that righteousness arises, that which makes a jewel unique, both anchored in the present and made to last. Create demand patience.
We must listen, accept that the idea takes its time, let emerge this line which, one day, arrives without warning. It is an intimate, almost meditative moment, when one connects with oneself and the story that the room will have to bear.

His will is to imagine and create the jewel you dream of, respecting the environment and every human being who participates in his making.
